By agreeing to these terms, I, individually, hereby acknowledge the following notices by Seattle Kids Yoga, LLC (SKY):
Prerequisites
For SKY Certification Courses / Teacher Training, trainees must have a personal yoga practice and a desire to share yoga with children. For SKY Workshops, it is recommended, but not required, that participants have a personal yoga and/or mindfulness practice. You do not need to be a registered or certified adult Yoga Teacher to participate in SKY Teacher Training or Workshops.
Cancellation Policy
For in-person and online Teacher Trainings, and in-person Workshops - If a written request is received at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the Teacher Training or Workshop, a refund will be issued less the registration and supplies fees, any payment plan fees, and a $30 processing fee for Workshops and a $50 processing fee for Teacher Training. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the in-person and online Teacher Training, and in-person Workshops are non-refundable. When applicable, payments from cancellations may be applied to another SKY Teacher Training or Workshop to be used within 1 year. Trainees are responsible for paying any difference in tuition and a $50 change fee (for Teacher Training) and $25 change fee (for Workshops) when re-registering. All cancellations must be submitted by email to hello@seattlekidsyoga.com. Online Workshops are non-refundable.
Purchase Price
Purchase price is the final price regardless of future discounts.
Payment Plans
SKY offers 2, 3 or 4 month payment plans. A valid credit card is required to secure a payment plan. By registering and submitting the 1st payment, trainee gives SKY permission to charge the credit card on file on the agreed upon date(s). There is an additional $10 charge for each installment. Registration & Supplies Fee
A non-refundable $30 registration fee for Workshops, and a non-refundable $75 registration and supplies fee for Teacher Training is included in the cost and required to guarantee your participation in SKY Teacher Training and Workshops.
Registration Confirmation
Upon receipt of your registration form and payment, you will receive an email of confirmation stating that you have been accepted into the SKY Teacher Training or Workshop of your choice. Class size for select offerings is limited and registration is on a first-come basis.
Trainers and Facilitators
SKY reserves the right to replace or change the SKY Teacher Training or Workshop Trainer or Facilitator at any time.
Liability Release
I acknowledge and fully understand that I will be engaging in physical activities that may involve some risk of injury. I acknowledge that I have been advised to consult with my physician with respect to any past or present injury, illness, health problem or any other condition or medication that may affect my participation in the SKY Teacher Training or Workshop. I assume the foregoing risks and accept personal responsibility for any personal injury sustained and discharge and hold harmless SKY, its owners, directors, members, teachers, contractors, employees and agents from any claim, cause of action or liability for damages arising from any personal injury or other persons or property caused by my participation in the SKY program, that the foregoing shall not apply to the intentional or grossly negligent acts of SKY.
Photographs & Video
I acknowledge that I may be photographed, filmed or recorded during the SKY Teacher Training or Workshop and these photographs, videos or recordings, which shall be owned by SKY, may appear in SKY promotional materials or products unless otherwise specified. No photograph, video or recording used will be identified by name, nor will any compensation be extended for such use.
COVID Safety Policy
For in-person Teacher Trainings and Workshops, Seattle Kids Yoga is following the WA State Department of Health, as well as our Host Studio, guidelines for masks and proof of vaccination. If it is determined to be not safe to gather in-person during the scheduled Teacher Training or Workshop, the Teacher Training or Workshop will be moved online and held virtually with the same schedule.
